I am currently based in the beautiful East Bay of San Francisco Bay Area, California. I am an avid traveler & love going to new places! I am also currently DYING to book more weddings overseas! If you’re planning a Destination Wedding or Destination Elopement, I’m your girl!
What’s it like working with you?
I love what I do, and that is very obvious when I’m behind the camera! Basically, I love to have fun with my clients and make getting your picture taken an enjoyable experience. I totally understand that getting your photos done isn’t the most comfortable thing in the world for most people, so I try and keep things as relaxed as possible. I’m not about awkward prom poses or “say cheese” vibes. My goal is to capture beautiful moments as they happen naturally, so I really like to let you be yourself though I will absolutely guide you along the way!
What should I wear to photo session?
A fabulous question! The main thing is to be comfortable and confident in what you’re wearing. If you’re uncomfortable, it can translate into the photos! You shouldn’t stray too far from your personal style, but photo shoots are a great opportunity to amp it up a bit. I’ve put together some outfit ideas and inspiration boards for engagements and family sessions on my Pinterest page. If you’re still unsure, shoot me a message and I’d be happy to discuss your options with you!
Do your sessions require a deposit?
Lifestyle Sessions do not require any deposit. A $500 deposit is required for Weddings to officially hold your spot on my calendar. Once the deposit is received, I’m all yours for the day!
Do you have a second shooter for weddings? Who?
Yes, I almost always use a second shooter when photographing weddings, the only exception being those with a very small number of guests! My second shooters are all seasoned professionals who have a similar shooting style to mine. I have a few go-to gals that I work with regularly & all of your photos will be edited by me for a cohesive look. You won’t be able to tell who took what!
What’s in your camera bag?
I’m a Canon girl. I work mainly with my Canon 5D Mark iii, Canon EF16-35mm F2.8 USM, Canon EF 50mm F1.4 USM & a Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Medium Telephoto. I also use a Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flash. My go-to lens is my 50mm which offers a killer depth of field perfect for portraiture with dreamy blurry backgrounds!
What do your Wedding Packages include?
All of my Wedding Collections include a personal Client Consultation, Hi-Res, fully Edited Images on a Password-Protected Online Gallery, Ability to order prints directly, Photo Release & a Second Shooter.
How do I order prints? Do you offer Albums?
Ordering prints is easy peasy! Once you have the link to your password-protected online gallery, you can order prints directly by clicking on your images. I offer matte, lustre, & glossy prints, Canvas prints (rolled or wrapped), framed prints, ready-to-hang mounted prints & much much more!
Will all photos be edited? What if I just want the RAW files?
All photos my clients receive are carefully and individually edited by yours truly to look their best and display my signature style, which is usually why I get booked in the first place! I get most of my business via referrals so for the sake of my business I need to be sure that any photo with my name attached to it represents my brand:) For this reason, I never release RAW files.
What is the process for booking a wedding?
It all begins with you! If you’re interested in a wedding session, please contact me with the date of your wedding and a little about yourself and I will respond quickly. I’d love to meet up with you in person to discuss details if you live in the Bay Area. From there we can move forward with a contract and officially booking your date!
